Why this matters

If you have multiple Thunderbird accounts configured, atbridge.ai sees them all. On Personal and Pro tiers, your AI can read and send from any of them. On Free tier, only the one account you started with.

The “send from” decision is part of the prompt. Just name the email address (or describe it):

• “…from my work email”
• “…from hello@example.com”
• “…from whichever account I usually use for Example Corp”

A common workflow

Many users keep:

• Personal — friends, family, side projects
• Work — primary employer / freelance clients
• Brand — hello@ for the side business

Setting up the brand-themed defaults once (logos, signatures, brand colours per identity) means every send from each account looks right without re-specifying.

Tip

Want to default to one specific account? Set the ATBRIDGE_DEFAULT_ACCOUNT environment variable to a substring of the account name. Your AI uses it as the default when nothing else matches.
