@bridge Notes
@bridge Notes is a private, local, AI-native notes workspace that lives inside Thunderbird. Write in Markdown (or a WYSIWYG editor) with Mermaid diagrams, LaTeX math, charts, and audio notes — then link notes together, hand one to the AI as context, or turn it into a task, event, or email in a click.
It’s a standalone workspace first: your notes are plain files on your own machine, they work offline, and you don’t need to connect a mailbox to use them. Think of it as a local, private notebook that also happens to talk to your inbox and the AI you choose — no vendor lock-in.
What you can do
Section titled “What you can do”- Write, your way. A clean WYSIWYG editor with a raw-Markdown escape hatch — headings, lists, tables, code, checkboxes.
- Diagrams & math. Drop in Mermaid diagrams and LaTeX (KaTeX) — rendered inline, editable side-by-side.
- Charts. Turn a small table of numbers into a chart, right in the note.
- Audio notes. Record a voice note from your mic, or attach an audio file, and have it transcribed into the note.
- Link everything. Reference another note with
[[double brackets]]; it becomes a clickable chip that opens the target. - Hand it to the AI. Plug a note as context so the AI you’re chatting with reads it live, or capture chat replies straight into a note with the Note Overlay.
- Act on a note. One-click Fast Actions turn a note (or a line in it) into a task, calendar event, contact, or a branded email.
Open @bridge Notes
Section titled “Open @bridge Notes”Open the @b activity-bar icon in Thunderbird and switch to Notes, or open a note from the AI Chat’s Note Overlay. Your notes folder is a normal folder on disk — point @bridge at any folder you like in Settings.
