Attach files & context

Give the @bridge AI Chat context from your own files. Use + → Attach context, pick a file, and its text rides along with your next message as a context chip you can remove any time.

  • Text & code — prose, Markdown, CSV/JSON/YAML, config, source files, and more (anything readable as text).
  • Documents — Word / Excel / PowerPoint, OpenDocument (.odt / .ods / .odp), RTF, EPUB, and PDF (best-effort text).
  • A note — attach an @bridge Note as context.
  • Images & audio — delegated to the perception / audio model you configured (an image is described; audio is transcribed) and attached as text.

Files are parsed on your machine by the @bridge host — only the resulting text is attached, and the extracted text counts toward the model’s context budget (you’ll see it in the composer’s budget meter). @bridge never uploads your files to its own servers.
